What is Shopseek?
Shopseek has been established to meet the demand of search engine friendly websites and business directories. Through affiliate listings and our expanding Australian Business Directory a listing on Shopseek will help to increase your exposure to online shoppers from both a consumer and business level. Can any business add a listing?
Any registered Australian business or Australian Website can add their listing for free to the Shopseek database - add your business now. We do not however include websites that promote adult content or gambling based websites.

How do I get higher up the listings?
Listing on Shopseek are currently returned/displayed alphabetically based on the selected category or returned results.

We also supported Featured/Paid listings. These appear at the top of all search and category results and are again listed alphabetically. A random featured business is also listed on the home page. As Shopseek develops we will introduce other methods to rank our results including popularity so the sooner you add your featured listing the more chance it has of being higher in the search results when this ranking system is introduced.

With both featured and none featured listings use as many relevant keywords as possible as this will increase the chances or your listing being shown for relevant searches performed.

How long does it take to be listed?
Advanced Listings are reviewed and generally approval is within 1 - 2 business days.

Basic Listings can take up to 14 business days to be added to the site however a large percentage are generally added with 2 - 3 days.

Featured listings are approved automatically and are reviewed within 1 - 2 days.

All listings are reviewed periodically.

Can I edit my Listing?
Currently listing can not be self edited. Please contact us with the changes you require for your listing along with the listing name or website address - for security reasons the email must be receive from the same email address that appears for the listing. We will endeavour to put through listing edits in 1 - 2 business days.

Can we link back to Shopseek?
Yes. Visit this page for a range of logos and text links you can use to link back to the Shopseek website. Text links are also welcome copy this text into your site to add a text link back to Shopseek.
